Party phobia
It always sounds like a great idea to throw a party. It sounds like a great idea until you actually do it. We're throwing a party in 36 hours. I am not the most gracious of hostesses. I don't even like going to parties, much less throwing them. I would like to be a party planner for other people, and then leave before any of the guests

(I sincerely hope I get to meet you sometime soon, btw) I have to say, my hands began to sweat for you as I read your post. 23 people??? Like,at the same time? For the entire weekend? Oy.
I can't even deal with the stress when both of my roommates are home at the same time.
I hope you end up having a super fun (and as stress free as possible) time. Just keep the Cosmos flowing- a full-on Cosmo haze could be just enough social lubrication you'll need.

All 23 won't actually spend the whole weekend. Most folks will be there just Saturday night, and only a handful will spend the night. Does that make it seem any better? Luckily, only the people I like the best will be here for the whole shabang. That way, I can ease into my panic by the time Saturday evening rolls around. If no one hears from me next week, it's just because I'm in detox.
