Today would have been my mother's 57th birthday. She was not only born on a military holiday but on a military base (Roswell, NM). She used to say that she didn't realize until she was about 10 that the Holiday & parades weren't just for her.

Well, I managed to get beldar on the road this morning with a good breakfast and a few gifts for the kiddos down there. I'm really gonna miss him while we're apart these next few days. OK, beldar updated yesterday's post as to what the car is. It's a Gallant. He drove it to work yesterday and the "check engine" light came on as he was coming back home. He looked at the engine and the fluid levels were good and it was not making any noise (it's a beautifully quiet and smooth running engine). We're going to take it by Auto Zone either ( Read more... )
