Quick update. Today was my boss' retirement party and surprisingly we managed to avoid a lot of crying during it but it will probably all catch up with us on Monday since that's her final day with us. I really hope our new boss is as sweet and wonderful as she was. I know I've only been here for a few months but she was great and I'm really going ( Read more... )

Not much to say today. The meeting went well last night. I'm getting myself psyched up for tonight's event. I also found out that we're going to be doing another costume event next month to debut the new Hallmark ornaments. When we did this last year we had a blast! I can't wait for this year.

Well, this weekend was certainly nice. beldar didn't have to work Friday night so we went and saw "I'm Not Rappaport" at Epilogue. The show was pretty good and we got to meet one of the stars afterwards for some heavy pettin's (it was the director's greyhound who cameoed in the show). Not much happening. Big mailout at work today. We got most of the cards in the post last night (some today) and some others soon. We had to get gas last night so we went ahead and picked up our Christmas lamb and while we were out I got gifts for my coworkers (they're getting me stuff). Well, last night was fun. We fought the traffic and got over to beldar’s eye doctor to pick up his glasses with a bit of time to spare. We then went and acquired "Firefly" and "Serenity" at Frye's.
