(no subject)
Hey everyone! Sorry I didn't update sooner. I've just been busy here at work getting caught up with all of the stuff that has been piling up since the audit. It will probably be sometime next week before I get totally caught up but I am progresing a lot faster than I expected. The girls are really doing a good job of improving their work overall and I have been able to breeze through most of their reports. I really can't tell you how much that improvement on their part makes me happy.
I had a job offer for an accounting position that payed more and had better benefits but I really don't see how I could leave them here as they have been so good to me and I really am working at my dream job (according to all fo the job satisfaction surveys I took in the past). Besides, they really like me and think I'm fantastic so I really couldn't bear to leave even for more money & benefits. Really, job satisfaction pays a lot more.
Anyway, I have to take part in a conference call later tonight. I was planning on doing it from work but I think I'm going to go home for it because if I didn't I would be driving home around 10:30 - 11:00 PM and I really hate driving in the dark. So, I'm printing out everything I can think of that I might need and am going to take it with me and just participate on the call from home. Besides, the last time I did one and came into the office for it they all thought it was a bit excessive (I lived closer then) so I should be alright.
We still haven't heard from mari_banfathi. She was supposed to call us last night but never did. I really hope she calls or emails soon.
Anyway, things are going well in our lives. The cats are still alive. We are still working on unpacking. We're beginning to get more settled into a routine too.
Oh, I almost forgot. I have a spare pass to see a preview of "Flags of our Fathers" at the AMC Greenwood this Thursday at 7:30PM. Would anyone out there like to tag along? It looks like a really great show. beldar wants to see it but he's got class that night. Please let me know.
