"Well, no, I haven't inquired about their sex life, why would I do that?" Fraser asks the wolf, looking somewhat appalled.
"No, actually, I don't believe it's my business... and no I don't want to hear about it from you either. When did you become such a gossip? I leave you alone for a few months and this is what I come back to. Perhaps we should turn this conversation around a little and discuss the matter of your sudden urge to breed," he suggests. Diefenbaker just huffs and flops down onto the ground, doing his best to look sweet and helpless.
"Well then, perhaps you should think twice before lecturing me and attempting to meddle in my love life," Fraser says simply, shaking his head a bit and returning his attention to the small chess pieces he'd been carving. They were all animals rather then traditional chess pieces, a handful of rabbit shaped pawns already finished in the lightest wood he'd found. The king he was currently working on was a wolf, of course, though he is still unsure what animal the queen will be. The board would come last, as he was sure it would prove the hardest thing to make, but still, Fraser is enjoying the carving.
"Ray believes I should start some sort of scouting program," he tells Dief, a little surprised when it isn't the wolf that answers.
"I suppose you could do that, it's not as if there's anything else worthwhile to do around here," Bob Fraser says, inspecting the smaller chess pieces curiously.
"I'm sure many people would argue that," Fraser replies, paying the dead man's complaints no real attention.
"A man like you will die in a place like this, son. Men like us don't belong on tropical islands," Bob frowns.
"I've found the temperature quite enjoyable actually," Fraser says lightly.
"That isn't what I mean," Bob tuts.
(Open to all, obviously Bob Fraser isn't really there, your pup can not see him. Late tags welcome.)
