So. Guess who just spent the last days playing 'Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney: Trials and Tribulations' for the Nintendo DS and not doing much else? (Well, I had to sleep sometimes. And eat. And watch Sherlock.) To my defense, it's the first week of my summer break and I'm not up for much else because I'm sick. Also, the game was ridiculously cheap (10 Euros!!!).

I've wanted to play the games of this series for quite some time now, but apparently the first two aren't easily available here in Germany or something. I'll have to look into that...

Anyway, Trials and Tribulations:
With the help of the Internet and walkthroughs, I cheated like hell, but hey, that's just how I roll. I'm in it for the story and I get impatient when it takes me too long to figure something out.

I'm used to games like Final Fantasy, where you can freely roam around and see all the characters etc., and I missed that sometimes. But I still enjoyed the game play.

I loved the dialog (except for the annoying typos) and the characters. At first I was disappointed because I thought I had picked the one game in the series without Miles, so I was pleasantly surprised when he did show up. Not to mention that Godot is awesome. Speaking of which, I ship Mia/Diego so hard. <3 And I was already shipping Phoenix/Miles before I played this game, so yeah.

I'd really like to get my hands on the first game in the series, but if I can't find it I'll probably continue with Appolo Justice ot Investigations.

But for now, I have a shiny new copy of Final Fantasy XII - I've heard it's not that good a game, but...it was also really, really cheap. And I'm a sucker for Final Fantasy. What can I say, I'm not that hard to please. ^^''

On another note, tomorrow is the day of my first private Japanese lesson, and in the evening I'm finally going to see Inception. Can't wait!
