Spriiiiiiiing break is here!
Ok it's been a really busy couple of days and this is the first access to the internet I've had in a while. 36 hours after leaving orlando we arrived in San Antonio. It's my first time here and it's really has exceeded my expectations. Enroute to TX we drove through Biloxi and New Orleans. Wow. I've been through my fair share of really horrific hurricanes in PR and FL but the cleanup effort has always been quick and effective. Driving through there, you'd think the hurricanes had touched down that week. We overnighted in Louisianna and then the next day drove through this huge ass state of TX. Houston looked like a huge cement dump in the middle of nowhere. 5-6hrs later we pulled into SA and slept like there was no tomorrow. Then we went downtown to the alamo and a few other sites. Afterwards I saw Eddie for a few hours which was great. Today I met up with Pedro and his brother and we went to Cascade Caverns which was really cool. Tomorrow I'm meeting up with Sharmila and then I'll meet up with my brother again for his unit's family dinner. I don't know what we'll be doing for the weekend- maybe go to Austin.
