There's a man with a gun over there
I watched "Lord of War" over the weekend. It was the kind of movie that tricks you into maybe learning a little something, and maybe thinking about issues bigger than what to have for dinner, in short, the kind of movie I normally avoid, not wanting to use my head for anything other than a hat rack. Also, it had Jared Leto in it, who, thanks to his role as Jordan Catalono in the television series "My So-Called Life" which I was quite the fan of as a 13 year old, personifies hotness to me, though a little less so in this drug-addled role.
And if all that isn't enough to make you rush out to your local neighborhood theater, I give you the opening line:
"There are over 550 million firearms in worldwide circulation. That's one firearm for every twelve people on the planet. The only question is: How do we arm the other 11?"
