josh & i might hit up faux show tonight at glam, pablo and nicholas are djing. i went last week and only knew like 5 people not including the bartenders & manager. this is after going for almost a year and a half then missing like a month. its so weird how the scene changes out. i suppose its a good thing, some of those people were so fucking pretentious and or obnoxious.
someone asked me how my mum is doing and i said that she is ok but doesn't want to change her lifestyle or slow down. he started laughing and said well things make a little more sense now, implying of course that i am stubborn.
i know i can be stubborn but i don't think any more so then your average bear.
i'm thinking about doing something drastic with my hair. its a very boring length and a very boring colour. josh made some crack about my hair always looking the same. i always seem to end up with a pretty standard haircut, but every once in a while i do something crazy. too bad i work for very conservative engineers. they already think i'm weird most of the time because of how i dress and the fact that i have tattoos. i think i could still get away with black with blue highlights.
i have so much work to do at work and yet i don't want to do any of it. i guess i'll be working this weekend, boo!
i am crossing my fingers that if everything goes smoothly i will be divorced in 45 days or less. i plan to throw myself a party and ceremoniously dispose of my wedding ring but i haven't decided on a method. suggestions? so far i've thought of throwing it in the ocean but what if a fish/duck/wildlife swallows it! i'd feel just awful. grand canyon? what if it gains so much momentum that by the time it reaches the bottom it is a deadly weapon and kills a hiker. melt it and make something new? nah i'd always remember where it came from. pawn it? it's really scratched up i doubt they'd want it and i wouldn't want anyone else to be stuck with the karma it comes with.
