Hello, livejournal land!
I have successfully found someone to mooch off the internet from! Ah hah! Not being able to post every day about what I've been up to and all the pictures I've taken has been killing me!
Let's just say that I am very happy down here and feel at home already, which is a really strange feeling cause I've only known one home and that was Livermore.
So since I've been down here, I've had some visitors (Elliott, Bri, Summer, Alex, and Sonam) and traveled around the area to get a sense of where exactly I'm living. Traveling may be overemphasizing it seeing as though the farthest I've had to drive is a 10 minute excursion downtown. Everything is within a 10-or-less minute radius. Safeway, movie theaters, the mall, Trader Joe's (two of them to be exact), Best Buy, tons and tons of places to eat, and my school. Awesome. Not to mention that we have a pretty private beach just a three minute walk away from the apartment.
I wake up to seagulls every morning and cloudy, foggy skies that make the air crisp and cool. It hasn't gotten above maybe 80 here, and there's always a comfortable breeze.
I miss the people, though. I really do. I cried the first night because I already missed my dad. And seeing Elliott and Alex leave after spending the night make me miss my friends.
But, I am loving it here. No, not loving it, living it :)
I'll have some pictures and videos pretty soon. I've taken so many. And I'll put in some details about my journey so far.
