A couple pictures of the Zimmerstutzen match. The English have darts, and the Germans have a shooting gallery using these rifles. They shoot a 4mm lead ball atop a CB cap, which looks like a tiny copper cartridge, sometimes called an acorn. Most of the barrel is a false muzzle, with about 8" of it being actual barrel. Some have the action up front with a LOOOONG firing pin instead. I'd love to get one of these for my own, but they're hard to find.



And here's all the competitors. I got 8th place out of 12 entrants, so I succeeded in "not last place".



Finally, a couple shots of the .22LR rifle I purchased there. It's an original Winchester 1885 Low Wall single-shot rifle, with a new barrel, stocks, and color case hardening.
