The party had gradually wound down, all the confectionary had been eaten and the 'bots had finally returned home or to their rooms. Even Ratchet and Bluestreak had graced them with their presence towards the end of the party and it took all of this ninja's restraint not to say something.
As he wiped up the counter and cleaned up various plates and utensils, Prowl sighed softly, thankful he was on his own for the moment. He hadn't wanted to recharge and so had opted to clean up after everyone and make sure they all got home safely. His faceplates creased into a frown as his thoughts dwelled on his old team mates.
He honestly didn't know what to think about was happening with Ratchet, he knew he was going through a hard time but to just run away from Sari like that, it had irritated him beyond words. Clutching the cleaning cloth tighter he focuses on the bench he's scrubbing clean, despite it not being that dirty.
It was none of his concern after all, but he was entitled to worry, especially when it came to Sari. She was on her own most of the time, and if he and Jazz weren't staying at the med bay for the time being to give Swoop a helping hand, she'd be even more on her own and it didn't settle well in the ninja's spark. She was still a little girl after all and no matter how tough she was, she still needed a guardian.
Visor dimming, he tries to push the thoughts of worry and concern aside and focus on the party and how most of the attendees had seemed to enjoy themselves. It was good to see and speak to Cheetor again, he'd felt quite bad about snapping at him back at the dojo. And of course he always enjoyed running into the Swoop's glad to see that medic!Swoop could pull himself away from his work even for just a couple of hours to enjoy energon goodies.
He smiled to himself finally, thinking that given everything they'd been through, all of them could be much worse off and for once, his own well being, mentally and physically was not something he could complain about. If only he could help everyone he cared about. Sometimes all a mech could do, for his own well being was to stay quiet and just be mindful of events around him. He was thankful at least he had someone he could turn to. As his thoughts drifted to more pleasant things and a certain white ninja who he had now promised his spark to, Prowl relaxed and began to hum to himself as he cleaned up, a gentle warm smile tugging at his mouth.
(OOC: Open post is open, ninja is obsessively cleaning the medbay so feel free to interrupt him. This also counts as the weekly medbay post. )
