Classic literature as plot bunnies
Here's an idea rewriting a piece of classic literature as a Transformer fic. Here are some ideas.
1) Dirge as Sweeney Todd the Demon Barber of Fleet Street! (I'm watching it for the first time and it screams Dirge all over the freeking place!!! ) LOL
2) Anything by William Shakespeare.
3) Any of Grimm's Faerie Tales (You can go bonkers here).
4) Alice In Wonderland
5) Megatron in Gladiator.
6) The Decepticons as the Spartans in the movie 300.
7) Any movie that is historical fantasy, such as Excalibur, Legend (with Tom Cruse), Clash of the Titans, Moulin Rouge, Amadeus, Dangerously Liaisons, etc.
8) The Exorcist (prequal, 1, 2 and 3), The Omen (1, 2, 3, 4 and 5), Rosemary's Baby (1 and 2), the Exorcisim of Emaly Rose, or any Antichrist themed horror story or ghost story (think of the movie Poltergeist).
9) Disaster fics, such as The Day After Tomarrow, Tornado, Volcano, Dante’s Peak, Poseidon, The Towering Inferno, Event Horizon (get your horror mixed with a disaster film, it’s fun! ;P), Armageddon, Independence Day.
10) And for the crack fic, Any Mel Brooks movie! History of the World Part 1, The Producers, Young Frankenstein, Blazing Saddles.
