I haven't commented before on this story, but I've been following it avidly since joining the community.

I absolutely love this chapter and the interactions between Natalie and Barricade. It adds further depth to both of them as characters. I've always seen dialogue as the best character building method out there.

Just one thing I saw that jumped out at me. Barricade mentions that there are three things making the situation ambiguous, yet only mentions two. What was the third?

The third thing is Barricade himself. Natalie was a little scared at this point, and he couldn’t really blame her on account of his being number three in the cause for ambiguity. <--See? ^_^

No, he mentions three, the third one just didn't get any nice italics. It's the three people in the car, or rather the two people AND the car.
