I think something like 30 states have some form of Early Voting. In Texas, we've had the polls open since last Monday, and I know very few people who haven't voted yet. So I was driving to work this morning, and I heard on the radio that the new AC/DC album, Black Ice is on a pace to sell 800,000 copies in its first week of release. Poll Pasta Spoon

An argument has ensued. I'm seeking assistance on whether or not the problem is as bad as it appears. And I had no idea this was such a hot button issue in the 80s. Or that the NYT online archives went that far back.

Liv is irritated with convention. She says that old convention based on obsolete typewriters dictates that double spacing after periods is obsolete and should be done away with, because fonts are proportional now and the double spacing is unnecessary. There is no quarrel whatsoever with the assertion that it is impossible to be cooler than David Bowie. The quibble is with the assertion that Iggy Pop is near David Bowie level of coolness.
