I was suspicious about the idea of "instant tea," but I've been coming to like it a little recently. There's no comparing to the taste of the real thing, but there's something to be said for convenience as well. Isn't modern technology something?
[She slowly makes her way back across the room and pours, careful not to get any on the various manuscripts and drafts piled in random places.]

Blue Oni
Usual threat: Very high
Frequency of encounters: Very low
Variety: High
Places likely to be encountered: Abandoned houses
Timesl ikely to be encountered: Anytime
Not to be confused with garden variety demons, there is one type of monster that all would do well to fear and respect. That monster is the blue oni.
They are usually very tall, at least twice the height of the human. They can be identified by their blue skin and enormous, disturbing face.
If you encounter one, your luck has surely taken a turn for the worst.
Countermeasures:
Under no circumstances should you try to stand and fight a blue oni. In a frontal attack, there's simply no defeating them.
In fact, don't try to orchestrate a surprise attack against them, either.
Indeed, your best defense is to run away, as quickly as you can, and seek an exit to the building. If you can escape the premises, they aren't likely to pursue you much further.
While they are astoundingly strong, their strength is their only real ability.
A quick-footed human can outrun one, and even a fairly dim human can outsmart one.
If you can find a hiding place1, it shouldn't be hard to fool them into walking right past you2. All they can do is chase and attack.
Once you shake its pursuit, immediately go back to trying to find an escape route.
1: Such as a closet.
2: If it's already watching you, don't bother trying to hide.
