Happy 2012, World!
Well, happy New Year's 2012.
Things to do this year:
* Finish and release album 3, "Wishing You A Happy Cataclysm", with Chris
* Help Kate record her album before she leaves
* Go all pen pal style with Kate after she leaves
* Make a couple music videos with Chris and Tom
* Create an entire album from scratch in a month
* Make enough money wherever possible (and hopefully legal) to escape New Hampshire
* Get independent
Lofty goals, I know. We'll see what gets accomplished (answer: nothing).
Had a decent new year's in Boston, hanging with Chris. We didn't do much. I drove down, we watched some 3 Stooges and Dick Clark before heading out around 10:30 to find a place to get a Guinness. Ended up seeing a band called (something) Blood perform a couple songs, which were pretty sweet. Got ripped off by some dumb joint that had a $10 cover for pretty much no real good reason other than it was packed, which wasn't really sweet. We went to the harbor after, caught some fireworks, then left before they were done. Watched some Kermit the Frog and Jason Segel on an SNL rerun, then listened to a couple She & Him songs while waiting for my GPS to recharge. Then I drove back. I wanted to see Dick Clark count in the New Year. Didn't, but it was okay.
The consensus seems to be that the Magic 8 Ball is always right.
