I woke up from this great dream about having tickets to fly to Glasgow and it was a wonderful chilly winter there. Urgh, hard to wake up after this weekend.

GAh, not only did I read in today's paper about a tragic accident at Mammoth Mountain in which a bunch of the ski patrol fell into a fumerole (volcanic vent) but got an e-mail from a friend of mine who had a serious ski-accident in the alps.I had a lecture from one of the ski-patrol guys who died, when I took a snow hydrology course up at Mammoth ( Read more... )
