One thing that most people probably don't know about me is that I am a slavish devotee of grafitti art - the lettering styles, use of color and space, and the mindblowing speed with which these gorgeous pieces can go up (as well as their generally ephemeral nature, since they get sandblasted or whitewashed off because they're "eyesores") has been something I've loved since I was a child. Once upon a time I experimented with even just trying to design tags of my own, but, as with most graphic arts, I quickly realized that I had almost no talent, and certainly no skills to make it worthwhile. So now, instead, I'm a hunter for tags and designs; whenever I see one, even when it's sort of clumsy (we don't have the greatest tag artists in this town), it makes my heart go pitter-pat. And no, I'm not that devoted to KRUSH GROOVE and WILD STYLE, but I am fairly devoted to them, yes... essential viewing of my childhood... I also am a massive fan of breakdancing (again, I can't do it myself) and turntablism (ditto).

LA Weekly's got a whole blog devoted to the best and freshest ones up on the walls of Los Angeles. When I ran across this today, I drooled. (See if you can find the 8-bit Che sequestered in their archives!) I will continue my search on the internets for more resources, particularly international ones, because I bet they've got some sweet pieces on the walls and traincars in Azerbijan, Manila, Christchurch, Sao Paulo...
