OK, I feel a little better now - well, a lot better. In fact I'm now all "BLEEEE!" because I just got off the phone with David Sterry, and he loved ADOS and it blew his mind. Sooo stoked your book is out!! As soon as can find some spare cash, I will get a copy. AND I LOVE the New Moon on Monday Duran party idea! I have space and furniture but live in a different city...

I just watched my first Wonderfalls today (it's running on Logo) and... also the same reaction? I'm going to try another one just to be sure, but it seems already to me that it's not as good as Dead Like Me... though the dialogue style is pretty similar.

The main problem is that I've been watching the very cream of the crop recently... and I want all shows, especially the highly recommended ones, to kick my ass sideways - "Profit" is incredible; "Heroes" is very satisfying; "Dexter" is mind-blowing, "Veronica Mars" isn't perfect, but what works about it is fantastic (oh bitchy Logan, marry me!). "Wonderfalls" is quite good, but it's just not on that same level, and I was hoping it would be.

It's the "Firefly" problem again, it seems; I've got 3 weeks to watch the DVDs before they're due back, so I'll watch at least a couple more episodes to see if the characters and the conceit grab me more. But no, it's no "Dead Like Me".
