OK, I feel a little better now - well, a lot better. In fact I'm now all "BLEEEE!" because I just got off the phone with David Sterry, and he loved ADOS and it blew his mind. And last night I went to Holocene and saw the Turn-Ons again, and they were as wonderful as always (seriously, fans of Ride and My Bloody Valentine, get on board with this delicious band) and Travis was a dear and I met some of the other band members again and we had a great time in the smoke-choked smoking lounge, and I had three great mojitos, and Miss Cecilia was in tears of joy over me. And Travis is going to custom-screen-print me a Turn-Ons shirt. And Cecilia's next art opening is next week and that'll rule.
And... yeah. David loved the book. I am in bliss.
Today is going to be a very busy day, but at least it's sunny outside, even if it is bitter cold. Right now I'm going to go to the coffee shop around the corner and get myself a massive foofy soy mocha and read ADOS for a while before I have to get started on the zillions of errands.
Unfortunately, assembled fans, I was not at all wowed by the first episode of Wonderfalls. Should I watch the whole shebang? It's from the library, so I have three weeks to get through it. In the meantime, it's back to Movie Madness to grab that last disc of Profit, because I'm loving that and I think I'm gonna buy it, and some other things to watch this weekend. (Oh but what? Dr. Who Nine? 1st season Arrested Development? That movie with the Small Faces in it? Or should I just watch the shit I own that I'm kinda itching to watch, HARRY POTTER/AZKABAN, ZOOLANDER, MULHOLLAND DRIVE which I freshly own and haven't even unwrapped yet? Or just more Heroes?)
Hooray. Four days off in a row. Maybe I can get some chill-out time. But it seems unlikely, huh?
