When the Non-Fiction Attacks
I had a sudden craving for non-fiction (and, well, good fiction) at the beginning of this month and I've been reading more non-fiction than I have in my life. I'm half way through Blog! which is rather interesting, a good view on the politics of blogs and such. I also just started The Gnostic Bible but that's a heavy read (literally too, 799 pages of hardcover goodness) and I'll have to wade through it and hope I can understand (I'm getting it!). It's a fascinating read though. I love learning about religions and such. So I'm curious, does anyone have any recomendations on a good book? Any good book? Fiction or non-fiction?
Speaking of that, there was this pretty nifty article on fan fiction. Nothing big brought up, but I've seen some authors bashing on the fic lately and I don't understand! Craziness.
Today has been a...melancholy day. A reflective, sad but not emo day. I haven;t been angsty or anything, just rather subdued (except with Holden at lunch...woooh. That boy better watch his ass, with his "you're close minded, you don't see the evilness of gays" and "pussy" jokes...) Speaking of that, I've created a monster. I yelled at the guys for calling each other pussy's because really, then they're just calling one another women and they mean it as an insult so of course I yelled at them. And so today, I call someone an "asshole" and all the guys "Oh my god Liz, that's offensive to me, me who the insult was not aimed at. You need to stop saying that." It's amusing. But Holden's still being an ass about it.

Eric was in the soccer video this morning. I laughed. A lot. More than his appearence deserved but really, it was funny. And with everyone "WHO WAS THAT???" I was cracking up. Ohyes.
Start driver's ed Monday. Fabulous. I'm really nervous. More nervous than what is normal. Let's just say, driving and I, we're not drinking buddies, that's for sure.
