Chapter 22 part 2
"Hi." I greeted.
"Oh its you, what brings you here Sakurai-san?" Angel told me sarcastically. She was still annoyed that I broke her favorite pencil. Now we're back on formal basis. That meant she's really mad.
"Mind if I come in?" I asked hoping that she wasn't that pissed. I was really cold because it was raining outside.
"Oh okay." She told me, before opening the door widely for me to enter. She was less interested with me than I was with her. So the thing about her pencil made matters worse. Now she seemed distant.
"Ah about the pencil~ I wonder why you're so mad about it.. its just a pencil you know-" but before I could finish with my statement, she cut it off.
"Its not just a pencil. It was given to me by my late dad.. you genius yet senseless, stupid, idiot guy, who suck at sports, and was afraid at entirely everything that's creepy." She told me in her monotone.
I was used of her telling me exactly different words- insolent words all the time, knowing that she's just making fun of me, but this time, I was hurt because I could feel that for the first time she meant every word she had said.
"Hey, I'm sorry. I didn't mean it. I was so afraid to lose it since you told me that you're gonna kill me if I did, that I carried your pencil all the time.. but I didn't expect something like that to happen." I bowed my head and rubbed my shoulder because of cold.. There was a long silence between us. Suddenly she walked towards me, holding something I didn't know what until she wrapped it around me. It was a blanket.
"Its okay now Sho-chan." She smiled- a smile that always gets my heart from the very first time I saw her reporting in front of the students. I didn't know why she suddenly forgives me, but I was afraid to ask.. so I let it pass…

"Hey, what's this?" Shi asked me. Showing off my drawing.
"Eh, you couldn't tell? That was a stick figure." I replied.
"Pfft.. hahaha.." Shi suddenly burst to laughter. "Sho-chan, are you sure this is a stick figure?"
"Yes" I said proudly.
"Eh? I couldn't tell at all, you're so funny Sho-chan." She said merrily.
"Eh? Its true, see. This is you, and this is me." I told her while pointing to my drawing. I was a little offended because she doesn't seem to recognize my effort.
"Oh,, I see.." she said, trying so hard to contain her laughter..
"You're a mean kid Shi." I told her.. after spending time with her, I notice that she didn't want people calling her as kid, so I got the expression I wanted.
"hmft." Shi pouted, which I find very cute. She hardly act as a kid, and when she does, it melts my heart..I was about to give her a kiss on the cheek since it was a common gesture between us, but she suddenly looked at me. It was our very first kiss..
