It's been a while everyone.
I no longer attend UB, but I have applied to Niagara for the MS Ed program for adolescent chemistry education. I'm not a researcher. I'm a teacher.
Nicole ended things in the middle of May. I'm not enough like her father it would seem.

Deep Delves Dependent on Dirges
So the semester has been going... not so well.
I haven't done so hot on the exams I thought had gone well, and homeworks for one class aren't good either.
So I'm not going to pull a solid 4.0 this semester that is required to stay PhD, not that it matters since I don't have a research group.

The holidays happened. They were nice. Not all I expected, but they were nice.
I'm worried a lot lately, about a number of things.

Some Lights Go Out
I'm in an awkward situation...
What am I supposed to do when the father of the girl I want to date passes away? If we were together, I know what is expected of me. If were were just friends, I understand what I'm supposed to do then. Classes so far are okay. I usually want to harm my organic professor. Biochemists, for the most part, are pompous asses.
My labbies are wonderfully entertaining. ^_^
I've found that I really like the Korean place on campus for lunch, and one of the baristas at Starbucks knows my usual order now. ^_^

And All Was Silenced
The last two months have been interesting, I guess.
Money is slowly and surely running out, and my first paycheck isn't until September 15th. Not yay.
Dad, Cass and I went to Alaska for five days the first weekend of the month. It's a lovely place to visit for a week or two, and there's a lot more to do than we got to do. We did do everything we ( Read more... ) -

I purchased a vehicle today.
A 2010 Toyota Matrix S, black/black, with a sunroof.
It's a dire black bear instead of a black behemoth, but that's okay with me. ^_^ -
The Return
I am home. It took 23 straight hours of transport, but it has been accomplished.

It's time to burn
Got word yesterday that I was indeed accepted to the Chemistry PhD program at UB.
Talk about taking their sweet time...
The quiet happiness that was yesterday was amazing. Sure, I have to pack my life up again, but I'm kind of used to that. One day... one day, I never will have to anymore. That will be a wonderful day. ^_^
