And All Was Silenced
The last two months have been interesting, I guess.
Money is slowly and surely running out, and my first paycheck isn't until September 15th. Not yay.
Dad, Cass and I went to Alaska for five days the first weekend of the month. It's a lovely place to visit for a week or two, and there's a lot more to do than we got to do. We did do everything we went to do though, so no loss there.
Coming back home... US Airways needs to go burn in a very large fire.
First flight: canceled.
Second flight: Fine.
Third flight: 'Oh, sorry, we put you on the later flight. Your luggage is on this one.' And it was late.
Fourth flight: 'The flight doors closed fifteen minutes ago.' We were on time you fucks! Spent the night in Philadelphia International.
Summary: I was not happy. I had not showered or slept in a bed for two days. I was quite ready to fly to Elmira/Corning, rent a car and just drive home.
This week is all orientation business at UB. Proficiency exams and the like. Not horrible, but bothersome. I'll be happier once the semester starts, and much less anxious.
D&D nights were good so far, and once everyone's schedule normalizes again, I'm sure we'll get the next few nights set up. Whoot! ^_^
