poem I wrote last night...
When I saw you,
Your eyes sparkled like emeralds.
You touched me.
You reeled me in.
Distance makes the heart grow fonder?
Bull.
Distance makes the heart forget.
Like a fish out of water,
I started to drown,
In the open air,
Miles away from that look in your eyes.
It felt so warm when you held me so tight…
But now I’m shaking.
I’m drowning in the sun,
But such bitter, bitter darkness.
I wish you’d take a moment to glance my way.
If I screamed would you hear me?
If I died would you care?
Touch me.
Touch me.
Touch me again.
Ignorance is bliss.

I have a feeling I'm going to get a lot of poetry out of this shit ass time I'm having right now, so there's an upside for ya.
