Delays

Well, there's been a few delays lately with my escape route - mainly that the sounder I was using to test for possible wall cavity penetration points & structural integrity seems to keep timing out waiting to process return signals from my sounding tests. By my estimations, a quality sounder should display a good report of the wall it sounds within a few days, but it's taken over a week!

Slightly frustrating, to say the least. I now need to decide whether or not to make some changes to the sounding pattern I was using & try it again, or look around for another sounding location in the wall. My guess is that it shouldn't be too hard to make some adjustments to this sounding wave, so I think I'll plan to try it again.

I'm constantly finding the biggest struggle in making headway here, however, is not my devices or strategies, but instead myself - fighting to get on track when there's no track to get on, yet. It will all happen in time, for sure, but in the meanwhile, it is a solid test of my self-determination & desire to escape! So, in addition to working on my sounder, I'll be working on my mind as well, to maintain focus and dedication in these crucial initial steps of this escape.

I must overcome these initial difficulties. If I do not, there's no chance of handling the myriad of even more difficult issues once I start my escape here shortly. I'll write again soon; hopefully with good news this time.
