Summary: For lost_in_108 prompt #31: force. As he smashes the wine bottle, Esau thinks Jacob is a fool to believe he can ever keep the force of evil contained.
Jacob is a fool, Esau believes, to think he can keep him there, and keep the forces of evil contained forever. Esau is the one who understands human nature; Jacob will realise this in time. And it won’t be long before Ricardo sees that he made a bad bargain in choosing Jacob; in death he could have been reunited with Isabella, now he no longer has this option.
Bad blood will out; it’s in all the people Jacob continues to bring there. As he smashes the bottle, wine flowing freely, Esau wonders how long it will take for Jacob to realise that there is evil inside him too.
