A Whole Lot of Firsts
A couple of days ago, Jamie finally started saying "yes". He's had a handle on "no" for some time, but "yes" was eluding him. Yesterday, I finally got him saying "yes please". He has to think so hard to put the two words together! It's clearly quite an effort for him, but he's really pleased with himself when he does!
Yesterday was also the first time any toy had to come out with us - George the Monkey came with us to music class (although George stayed in the car, because he's not allowed to come to music class). I was quite excited to see Jamie making such a strong connection with a toy!
This morning, I came downstairs to get him up and discovered him completely naked. He's managed to get out of his pyjamas before, but never before taken off his diaper too. I have a suspicion this is just the first in a long line of "discovering Jamie naked" events.
Katie has been walking like crazy today - lots of groups of 5 or 6 steps, most of them while I was Skyping with mum and dad so they got to see too. She's also started nodding, which is especially interesting since it's happened at the same time as Jamie learning to say yes.
