Sorry, didn't want to try to double post it.

So, after work I'm packing up and hitting the road with Nik as my navigator. My last trip to my parents when it was just he and I took forever. The typical 2 hour ride ended up taking 3 1/2 because of not being able to accommodate Nik. However, I have my secret weapon, Cars DVD. 10 minute mile tonight for an off night, ain't bad.

Looking up prices for flights to Greece for 2 adults and 1 child. Ugh. Oh well, I knew it was coming.

Looking up Amtrak tickets to New Orleans. I figure, why drive?
Prices aren't bad, might be doable.

Halloween was good. Here's the pictures, not many and Nikkos was anti-costume. He refused to wear the boxing costume, he screamed at the sheer sight of the boxing gloves. I managed to get him in a hand me down giraffe costume, but he wasn't having the hood up. Oh well.

I found 101 Cookbooks this morning and more specifically found this Toasted Pumpkin Seed recipe, which I will be making in the next 2 weeks or so, for sure. I'm really looking forward to seeing how the Sweet & Spicy recipe turns out. I've actually horded quite a few new recipes I want to try relatively soon. Postpone Vegas a little bit longer tekki, it looks as though we'll be hitting Helen, Georgia towards the 1st part of November for Oktoberfest.

A little sad that my Strangers In Paradise comic has come to an end. It was less a comic than it was more of a super awesome story of 2 girls.
