(no subject)
i've had the past three whole days without uni or interning or work or any other obligations, so i've been able to do what i want for a change and get some things done that i've been putting off all semester. i've been taking long walks each day with my summer playlist on my ipod and i've been keeping my room nice and tidy and eating right. it feels good.
i changed everything that was hanging up along that rope and i added a second row. please note my beautiful prints from caitlin shearer that arrived in the mail hanging up!

dear jack is documentary of andrew mcmahon's battle with leukemia in 2005-2006. aside from being one of my top two all time favourite musicians, he's also an amazing and truly inspiring person in every way.

i used my birthday book vouchers (and spent a little more) and ended up with a WHOLE bunch of new beat gen books which i'm really excited about! the blue & orange ones whose spines you can't really read are kerouac's san francisco blues & some of gary snyder's poetry.
and because i bought three of the popular penguins (you were actually supposed to buy four, but the lady was nice) i got an adorable penguin umbrella.
i also went jewellery shopping with hannah, though i actually bought the key brooch while op-shopping a while ago.
i also used my kikki k stationary voucher from my birthday and bought a few smaller things and this beautiful cloth-bound 365 journal. which will be perfect for when i start the 365 project. i was just considering doing it before, but ever since i found this journal i knew it was just too perfect and when i decide on the right time i'll start it. it'll be great to have a whole years worth of photos to look back on in the one journal/album. :]
andddd i found some back issues of lula on ebay that actually weren't outrageously expensive! haha. ♥
