Okay.  I'm a big fan of consequences.  You do A, you reap B.  Without consequences, decisions are meaningless.  So, point for consequences.

I love a character twist that's in character that I'm not expecting.  Point for that too.  (Castle did the much the same thing but differently.)

Okay, the original Star Trek came out in the late sixties, ran for three seasons and spawned three spinoffs plus nine, or eleven or seventy-two movies, and reached cult status. Rebooting it made a certain amount of sense. Rebooting Batman... well, given where Batman had slid to, it certainly couldn't hurt.
