Happy New Year, everyone! It is snowing beautifully outside, which is, I think, a lovely way to usher in the new year. I spent the morning babysitting for my neighbors, and then the past four hours chasing twenty middle school kids around a playground and trying to organize jump rope competitions while stopping them from doing flips off the monkey bars. The thing about writing self-indulgent fic is that self-indulgence tends to snowball. I have such a weakness for h/c, and I know this about myself so I do try to give myself firm limits for what I'm allowed to include in a single story.
