I think my heart broke just a little today ...
By now, most of you have heard that Elisabeth Sladen passed away today after a battle with cancer. I'd had my head burried in work most of the day, so I did not hear until I got an IM from
bookwrm89. I burst into tears.
I grew up watching Classic Who with my late father. We both loved Sarah Jane. As my friend G, a fellow Whovian said "when I was little, I wanted to be Sarah Jane." There was something timeless about Elisabeth Sladen that left its mark on generations of Who fans.
The world seems a slightly darker place tonight. She will be missed.
