I'm going to restart the Lyndsay Sands series on my Kindle

Our local library is ... awful ... so nothing

Forgeting where I am in a series and ending up with two copies of the same book

Yes - I got a Kindle for Christmas and have the Kindle Ap on my Blackberry
7. Do you prefer to read one book at a time, or several at once?
One at a time
8. Have your reading habits changed since starting a blog?
Yes in that I tend to read more online and less in print.
9. Least favorite book you read this year (so far?)
Let's go with 2010 since there have only been 16 days in 2011. I would have to say the last Sookie Stackhouse book. I only managed about half of it.

Again - going to stick with 2010. Ally Blue's new Mother Earth series.
11. How often do you read out of your comfort zone?
Fairly often. For instance, starting to look at some Steampunk recs.
12. What is your reading comfort zone?
It changes. I was a mass market fiction girl for many years then moved to paranormal (followed Laurell K. Hamilton) and its just exploded from there.

Well considering I have not been on a bus in twenty years ...

No - simply because my books are like old friends. If I like a book enough to say 'you have to read this' I buy a copy as a gift.

English since its the only language I can read in
20. What makes you love a book?
A writer who is true to the characters. Writers can create characters any way they please, but having done so, they must remain true to them.
21. What will inspire you to recommend a book?
It depends on the person I am reccing to - their interests and what they find makes a good book

Any paranormal
23. Genre you rarely read (but wish you did?)
Classic British Novels. I've not touched them since college.

Angel in Black: Remembering Dale Earnhardt Sr
25. Have you ever read a self-help book?
I define self-help a little differently then most. I've read books on writing that have made me a better writer - that is helping myself. I've read Suze Orman. As for the other stuff - never.

Anything by Rachel Ray

I have to go with 2010 again and say Stephanie O'Dea's cookbooks - mainly because they started as a blog

Coffee

Rarely

If I don't like something, I say nothing at all.

French or Welsh (I'd like to be able to read original versions of the legends of Arthur)

Gone With the Wind. I was 10 and it was over 1000 pages

I don't have a singular poet but there are a handful of poems I love

Jean-Claude in the Anita Blake series. I know he's a quasi hero, but he's a manipulative bastard.

Much Ado About Nothing ( I know its a play but ... still)

I will skip to the end then re-read to see how it got there

If a character does something that makes no sense to everything you've painted that character to be

The Andrew Young book about John Edwards. Yeah, the man is scum but he has young children and his wife was dying. They did not need to be victimized again.

Harry Potter - I put it off for four years

The Demon Hunting Soccer Mom series by Julie Kenner. I liked it because the characters were dealing with grief, then the writer went and pulled a Bobby Ewing

Anything that I don't want my relatives catching me reading
