So, I need a new vacuum.
A GOOD vacuum.
I have purchased three vacuums in a little more than four years, and they always break down so quickly. I'm starting to realize that, as far as a vacuum goes, I need to spend the money.
It's ridiculous how quickly they become useless!
But my mom hasn't bought a vacuum since before I can remember (she STILL has that old Eureka vacuum that we had when I was little, and it still works), so I can't exactly ask her advice. She knows NOTHING about modern/newer vacuums. (And yes, I've bought a couple of cheaper Eureka vacs...did not go well.)
I've asked a couple of my RL friends, but they're not too helpful.
So I've come to you.
I need a vacuum, and I'm willing to spend a buttload of money on it, as long as it doesn't break down in a year or two. You know, as long as it does the job it's supposed to.
I have two cats, but they're short-haired, so picking up the fur isn't usually too difficult for the vacuums. What DOES give the vacuums trouble is the AMAZING amount of cat litter that my two energetic (and slightly crazy) cats are so fond of spreading throughout the entire apartment.
I've tried to go to the websites of a bunch of vacuums, but they talk about things that mean nothing to me. I don't understand what they're talking about, with their fancy features and stuff.
So I can't figure out which vacuum is right for me.
Could you all please tell me if you have had any great or horrible experiences with certain vacuums, please?
I NEED a reliable, long-lasting vacuum, and I'm willing to pay to get it!
Thanks, guys.
As always, you're awesome. :)
