The main reason for our trip to the big island was to celebrate my FIL Steve's 60th birthday.

To commemorate the occasion we went out to eat at Huggo's in Kona.  Ladies, the food was to die for and the location, right on the water on an outdoor covered patio... A-mazing!

In happier news...

We had an excellent time in Hawaii.  The big island proved to be far more fun than I anticipated.  I have to admit that I wasn't all that thrilled with going to the big island because I like my sandy beaches and I thougth I'd be seeing nothing other than the lava covered beaches that required me to constantly wear reef shoes.  Now ( Read more... )

Well, Im fresh back from Maui and looking tanner than I usually do this time of year which is nice!  I'll write more about Maui later though.
