Summary: Allelujah and Midna meet at the training grounds.

Midna was seated on one of the rocks in the training area, her eyes closed. She really had become rather bored recently. Just working at a music store all the time was not what she was used to and she had decided to come up her and do some training. At the moment, she was trying to focus on her power.

Allelujah was jogging up the path to the training grounds as per usual, intending to get some training in as well. He was used to being one of the only ones there, occasionally one of those who worked there were there as well, but they never bothered him. Seeing the seated woman already there gave him a bit of a pause, simply because he didn't see her doing anything.

Well, now she wasn't alone. Midna opened her eyes and looked at Allelujah. She smirked slightly. "Hello," she said to the man standing there.

Allelujah nodded slightly when the woman opened her eyes and looked at him. "Hello..Should I leave?" He could always come back later if he was disturbing her.

"No, you don't have to leave," she remarked. "There is room for both of us." Her training didn't require much physical movement on her part.

He quirked the brow she could see, before giving a slight smile. "Alright." Still, he kept to the other side of the training grounds, knowing precisely how much space he needed for his usual workout, and started his routine.

Midna watched him for a moment then decided to actually do some training of her own. She looked over at one of the large rocks on the opposite side of the site where Allelujah was training and was able to lift it with just her powers.

Allelujah paused when he saw the rock float upwards without warning out of the corner of his eye. He turned enough to glance at the woman before shaking his head slightly and returning to his workout. Obviously she was a telekinetic, though not a telepath. Much like Nagi, actually. He didn't have a problem with that. Neither did Hallelujah, which was a good thing.

Technically she wasn't a telekinetic since she wasn't using her mind to lift it, but it was probably close enough. Not even realizing he had been watching, she continued by using her finger to fire what seemed to be a red ball of light at the rock. After a moment, the rock shattered, the pieces staying in place, then fell harmlessly back to the place where the rock had been before.

He was unaware of the truth of what Midna was, so how was he supposed to know what she could do? The explosion caught Hallelujah's attention, and Allelujah found himself again pausing his routine to watch the shattered bits of rock fall to the ground.

Midna glanced back over at Allelujah and half smirked-half smiled.

Allelujah smiled slightly, a bit embarrassed he'd be caught watching. He forced his attention, and Hallelujah's by proxy, back to his workout.

"How rude of me," Midna remarked. "I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Midna."

He blinked at the words before shrugging, returning his gaze to her. "You were not expecting to be interrupted. I'm Allelujah."

Midna chuckled slightly. "It is fine. I am used to it. Nice to meet you, Allelujah."

Allelujah smiled faintly. "Same to you."

"How long have you been here?" she asked.

He thought for a moment before shrugging. "Just a few months. How about you?"

"Nearly two years now."

Allelujah blinked, "that's a long time...Do you like it here?"

Midna shrugged. "It is not bad. It is more of a vacation for me here... but it does get rather boring."

Allelujah chuckled a bit. "That it does. What's your world like?"

"It is a world covered in constant twilight," Midna remarked. "A continous sunset if you will."

He nodded thoughtfully, considering what it must look like. "Sounds..beautiful."

Midna nodded. "I rather like it. The world is usually a peaceful one. It is again. What about the world you are from?"

"Must be nice.." Allelujah commented. His slight smile twisted slightly, and he shrugged slightly. "The sun doesn't stay in one place, so it's like this island in that sense. Unfortunately, there's been a rather...harsh...war between countries. A few people, myself included, were trying to make it a peaceful place again, three years ago. I don't know how well we succeeded, though I don't think we did."

Midna nodded. "Ah. I see. It is a shame that someone always wants to have all the power." She grumbled a bit.

He nodded, near silent sigh slipping out. "Yeah..."

"Of course in the case of my world, two people decided that they wanted to control not only my world, but the world of light as well."

Allelujah blinked. "The world of the light?"

She nodded. "A world like this one. It was called Hyrule. There is someone here from Hyrule. Link."

He recognized the name and gave a nod. "I've talked with him a couple times."

Midna nodded. "I see. That's good."

Allelujah smiled faintly. "My world's more advanced than his, but I think that might be a good thing. At least in his world they weren't fighting over who got control of what power source.."

Midna nodded. "Yes, they didn't fight about that which was good, but thanks to Zant, it was not a very safe place for a while."

He shrugged, not about to contest that. "Each place has it's own difficulties, I guess."

Midna nodded. "I guess it does." Randomly testing skills she hadn't used in a while, she brought up a translucent yellow barrier around a nearby tree, letting it fall away after a moment.

Allelujah watched her test random abilities for a few minutes before going back to finish his workout. It didn't take long, as he'd already done most of what he usually did.

Midna stretched a bit after finishing her own training. She glanced over to watch Allelujah for a moment.

He finished a couple minutes after she did, subsequently falling into the usual cooling down exercises. He hated to get stiff after a workout, after all.

Midna stood up. "Well, it was nice meeting you," she said. "Hopefully we will meet again sometime."

Allelujah looked over at her and smiled faintly, nodding. "You too. I'm sure I'll see you around."

Midna nodded, then teleported off.

He blinked when she just disappeared. He still wasn't used to people doing that.

allelujah, midna
