A night out on the town...

Yesterday night me and Paul had dinner at The Harrison in Manhattan.  We had the peeky toe crab to start off and then Paul had the sauteed skate and I had the dayboat chatham cod.  The peeky toe crab appetizer absolutely blew me away.  That had to go on my top 10 of appetizers I've ever tried.  Paul mentioned he liked Candela's, the last restaurant we went to better than this one.  In my opinion, the seared ahi tuna w/ wasabi mashed potatoes I had at Candela's was pretty awesome but the tuna tartare we had was too greasy (Paul liked it).  Nothing compares to the appetizer at the Harrison! Paul and I have different tastes when it comes to food, except at that one restaurant in Chinatown where we agreed on that one green bean dish.  Oh well...

Anyway, the dessert menu didn't look as appealing so we decided to go into Times Square.  After stopping into a couple bakeries I decided I wanted the infamous Chimicheesecake from Applebee's....

 !!

No apple cheesecake dish compares to that either.

It's snowing! The snow is more slushy than powdery but it's still nice.  You kind of have to walk to the umbrella held in front of you because the snowflakes just slap you in the face.

Tonight is poker night at Paul's place. They're also watching the March madness game.   I was going to play but there's like 9 people here and I'm squished over to the bed.  Geez, Paul's in the lead has a crap load of chips on his side.  I hope that money is going to get something nice for Tracy.  Haha....
