Well after the run in I had with Brianna last night, I have decided to take her for the day and do just daddy daughter things.
"Daddy, bye bye?" She asked me with her little brown eyes twinkling at me.
"Yes angel, today is daddy and Bri day. Do you like the sound of that?" I asked her, leaning down to plant a soft kiss on her golden locks.
"Yes, miss you daddy." She said to me, making my chest tighten.
"Oh sweetie, daddy misses you too when your not with me, I hope you understand when you get older." I said to her, picking her up and carrying her over to kiss Kiley good bye and then heading out the door.
I was turned around to shut the door and out of my arms flew Brianna.
"Uncle Tay." She yelled and ran up to him and into his open arms.
"Hi sweetpea, what are you doing?" He asked her kissing her cheek.
"Bye Bye with daddy." She said smiling, taking Tay's cheeks in her hands and pulling him down to her level and kissed his cheek.
"Hey dude, what are up too?" He asked me.
"Well, seems one little girl misses me a little much that she wanted to hit me last night, stick her tongue at her mom, so I figured we needed a daddy daughter day." I told him.
"Yeah I know that one. Ezra decided to pull my hair last night and not let go." He said to me.
"Well do you want to go with us? We are going to the park then out to, Burger King after." I told him.
"You know, that might do Ezra some good, and me. Let me go grab him really fast." He said as we went inside his room.
"Hi Zac, hey Bri." Trish said to us both as Bri ran over to give her a hug.
"Hi Trish, how are you today?" I said kissing her cheek.
"Not to bad, I see you have your hands full too huh?" She asked grinning.
"Yeah, seems the road life is taking a toll on the little ones." I told her.
She noded and looked over at Taylor and Ezra, I could tell this was affecting Taylor.
"Hey, has anyone checked on Isaac today?" I asked.
"Yeah, I was just over there, he is feeling a little better but still resting." Jade told me.
"I was going to go check on him, but affraid that I would get it and give it to the kids before Kiley takes them back to the states." I told them.
Ezra turned around and saw me and Brianna standing there, he ran over and hugged Brianna.
"Uncle Zac." He yelled putting up his high five hand.
"High Five little buddy." I said to him and smiled.
Taylor kissed Trish good bye and we left with the kids, I pray this day works.
"We got to the park and put the kids on the swings and started to push them, Taylor seemed really distracted for some reason.
"Tay, are you ok? your awefully quiet." I said to him.
"Yeah, this whole mess with Ezra made me feel like a terrible father, I am never there for him, what kind of life am I offering my son?" He said to me.
"I feel the same way, I have 2 of them Taylor. When Bri hit me last night, she became a child I didn't know." I told him.
"Yeah, I couldn't believe that Ezra just didn't want to let go of my hair, it is like he was purposly trying to hurt me to get my attention." He said, sounding really upset.
"Tay, we are doing the best that we can, and they will understand as they get older man." I told him, not sure if I was trying to convince me or him! I knew this day was going to be an adventure for the 4 of us!
