It was so nice to be here with Zac and Brianna, Ezra seemed to be really enjoying himself and honestly,so was I.
I have not really had much bonding time with Ez lately with our schedule, and poor Trish has had to be the mommy and daddy while I have been here.
Zac was really enjoying his bonding time with Bri,she was laughing, hugging, and just really loving having daddy all to herself.
This made us realize our schedules are the reason our kids are acting like they are,it has made me rather envious of Isaac for his kids are to young to understand, but then again when Ez was born so was he.
"Are you hungry Bri?" Zac asked her, looking at her rubbing her little eyes, knowing someone was getting tired.
"Yes daddy, love you." She said to him, as she laid her little head down in his lap, he rubbed his hand over her hair and smiled.
"Daddy loves you too angel, more then you will ever know." He said to her, tears filling his eyes. I reached over and rubbed my hand over his shoulder, and he reached up and patted it.
Not even 5 minutes later, she was asleep, not even making it to Burger King.
"Seems someone was a little tired." I said smiling at Zac.
"She has not played like that in a long time, it is to hard for Kiley to do this with Matthew in tow." He said kissing the top of her head.
Ezra came running over to us, grinning his big grin. "Daddy, I'm hungry." That was our sign that it was time to leave the park and take them to get something to eat and then call it a day.
We pulled into the parking lot and parked the car, we looked and Brianna pop right up, reminding me of Zac when he was that age when he would smell food, wait, he is still like that I though and giggled.
"What is so funny?" He asked me looking puzzled.
"I was just remembering when you were her age, you used to perk up like that when dad would pull into a place like this too." I told him.
We sat and ate and talked about the rest of this tour as the kids were playing in the gym area.
"I hope Isaac is well enough to play tomorrow night." Zac said to me, cleaning up Bri's mess.
"He should be, Trish said he looked better today." I told him walking over to get Ez ready to leave.
We got the kids in the car and headed back to the hotel, we looked in the back seat to see both kids out like a light, smiling at each other.
"Maybe we need to do this more often when they are here." I told Zac.
We got to the hotel and went to our rooms, and realized it was a very good day with our children.
