ariesd's problem turned out to be Lithium Toxicity. Not a lot of fun. It took two trips to two different ER's and finally a neurologist to figure it out. He came home on Wed, he's still out of it at times and it may take up to a week or more for him to completely recover, but he's ok ( Read more... )

They don't know what is wrong. They are bringing in some specialists to review his medication and a neurologist.

He's still very lethagic, his speech is slurred but he is more easily understood and a little more alert.

Bringing his laptop to him now, so I expect he will be online shortly.

ariesd is in the hospital again. Same mysterious symptons they thought might have been a stroke back in August but finally decided it wasn't... only this time its worse.
