You know you're a night owl when
I forgot to sign out of AIM last
night, something I occasionally do lol, and when I went to shut down
the computer this morning there was an IM from Anne from a little
before 5 a.m. my time, presumably after her TV finale party guests
left. And it was just a normal conversation-starting kind of IM,
notable for the complete absence of any kind of question like, "What
are you still doing up?" LOL. It was obviously a perfectly
reasonable assumption that I would still be online. :D *shakes
head at self*
Going out again tomorrow night; seems like a good way to kick off a long weekend. I have been informed that I am not allowed to leave early this time, I must stay and dance after the DJ starts up (around 11, I think). I'll wear something that doesn't make me feel like I should be doing heavy lifting this time LOL.
Then, long weekend. Yay! It feels tremendously odd, having Memorial Day instead of Victoria Day, but frankly I don't want to celebrate the woman responsible for the sexually repression of several continents who was proud of having taken two baths in her entire lifetime (even if she had pretty wedding shoes, on view at the Bata Show Museum in Toronto). King Edward should have stayed in Halifax with his French mistress instead of returning to England and producing the eventual Queen Victoria, lol.
And *then*, Sarah McLachlan concert next Wednesday! Woohoo! I so need to dig out those CDs and refamiliarize myself. It's just not as much fun when you can't remember all the words!
Huh. Against all logic and reason, I seem to be developing a life. Who knew??
