My knees may hate me tomorrow
as it's been a long time since I
did that much bendy reggae dancing, lol. But I had fun, and I'm
glad I went. :-) J & J had to leave around midnight and I
stayed another half hour or so since a ton of other people from work
had shown up around 11 - I gather that word sort of circulated over the
week and we all ended up there LOL. I suppose I should really
have stayed and socialized more with them, but the music was too loud
for any real conversations and frankly, four hours of house music is
about my upper limit!! Dear God, would it have killed the DJ to
play something that actually rocked??? lol. It's like
listening to the dance remixes of Lonely No More:
wtf is wrong with just dancing to the original song? It has a
perfectly good beat. So do any number of MB20 songs, and I didn't
have any trouble dancing at the Green Day concert either. Hell, *Metallica*
has some stuff that's good to dance to! *sigh* I think I need to
find me a dance club that at least plays Top 40 kind of stuff mixed in,
because seriously, I just can't get nearly as into it when not only do
I not know the songs, but I don't care if I ever hear them again
either. But that's my only complaint. Well, that and the
fact that part of my underwire finally snapped lol. Damn bras.
