I've been so busy these last few weeks but things have calmed down a considerable bit. I have one more exam standing between me and my Bachelor's degree. I've been trying to spend as much time with people as possible. I feel lonely whenever I'm in my room by myself. I've been avoiding being in my room a lot lately but as a result I missed saying goodbye to a lot of my first year students that were moving out of residence. 8 months sure did go by so fast. Being a Don can be extremely draining but I'm glad I did put so much effort into my students. They don't always outwardly show that they appreciate what I do for them. But just when I learned to get used to it, they go out and do something like this for me.
They made this giant card for me and they all signed it! I was so incredibly touched. And they also got me this really cool infuser mug and Godiva chocolates *drools*. The card alone was more than enough though.
These past few weeks have been really great. Aside from the stress of studying for exams, I really feel like I've made a lot of great memories. I haven't had the time to write about all of it.
So instead you'll just have to settle for a few of my favourite tinder screenshots that I collected before I deleted my account and uninstalled the app (over 100 matches later -___-).
This guy was one of my matches. We may have been soul mates. Sadly, none of us messaged each other first.
This guy was kind of funny. But I've since realized that a lot of people on tinder use this pick up line.
This guy seemed like he used tinder to troll with people. I trolled him back. We actually ended up having a decent conversation. He gave me his number and asked me out for coffee when I told him I was going to uninstall the tinder app. I never ended up texting him.
For the record, I swiped No on this guy. I just found his bio/profile pic combination screenshot worthy.
This guy was what caused me to realize that I needed to uninstall tinder and stop wasting so much time on it.
