Went to the zoo yesterday. Saw two peacocks with their tails up. One of them was just sitting on the patio of the food court, showing off. It was quite funny, and totally beautiful. Also, saw a rattlesnake yawn, two grizzly bears play fighting in a pond, penguins, otters, elephants, and meerkats. I love the zoo.

 I ordered the Sherlock dvds on Saturday, and they arrived today, and I was SO EXCITED because SPEEDY SHIPPING and then disc two did not work. Plans to rewatch the unaired pilot FOILED. Argh. So I shall have to exchange that, which is very very sad.

 So, I sort of watched the Oscars. I saw the best actor/actress and best picture bits. I love the Oscars for the pomp and circumstance and the nostalgia, and for the mocking of dresses, but the problem is I just don't care about movies. I haven't seen any of the best picture nominees.
