Suddenly, it's rainy, grey, and November, and I'm decisively behind at things. I've discovered, however that AcWriMo (academic writing month, a national novel writing month knockoff) is a thing. I'm not going to sign up officially, but I am going to try to implement it in my life as I finish up my monastic vocations and careers chapter and work on my priories chapter. Ideally, I'd like to write about 15,000 words of chapter drafts this month (plus however many thousands more it takes me to get to 15,000 words that can stay). Let's see if I can do it!
Dissertation writing goals:
FINISH DRAFT OF VOCATIONS/CAREERS CHAPTER
Draft of foundations of abbeys/priories chapter
• Finish priests and church reform intro to priests section
• Finish Gorhedr priest of Nort-sur-Erdre example
• Finish priests section
• Remove Guihenoc son of Caradoc of La Boussac
• Have a bit of a poke around new facsimile of cartulary of Sainte-Croix de Quimperlé
• Write Sainte-Croix de Quimperlé interesting exception section
• Decide on placement of Sainte-Croix interesting exception section [THINKING END]
• Write appendix-informed summary of social connections and vocations
• Write stats on monks of Breton origin section
• Choose examples for monastic careers section
• Write monastic careers section
• Work in Judicael of Frossay, Adenor of Pruigné
• Write times changing at Marmoutier section
