I swear Goodreads is going to be the death of me...
This is Goodreads *points at link to site*
It is an evil site. Do not go there. Why? Quite simply, it will offer you the opportunity to list all the many many books you have read (fun at first, but then addicting). It will also recommend new/other/different books to you (its opening salvo). It will open up your mind to entire libraries of authors and books your local bookstore could never hope of rivaling (poor local store).
In short: It will end your life.
Evidence: This - is my to_read list at present > linking thing. *facepalm* 391 and counting. I have just realised I am unlikely to ever read all of these books because of a) time b) money and c) its exponential. I can't ask the world, 'wait, just stop for a year or three so I can catch up' - no, no, people keep writing books and I don't have as much time to read as I did in yesteryear and just... *points in dismay* I want to read them ALL *wails*
Avoid Goodreads!! AVOID! Do not let it open the libraries of the world to you! saphirablue is already doomed with me. Run, folks. Run. Heed my warning *dramatic voice*
