Yes, you read that right WORSE than Rodger Corman.

Now, I personally love bad 50’s monster films and therefore am a fan of Rodger Corman. But Regardless, tonight I was watching “Zanthor: The Thing from Venus” (starring John Agar of “The Mole People" fame) and noticed that it was really bad… and yet… oddly familiar.

And, Egads!! It was a remake of a Corman gem, “It Conqured the World” (starring Peter Graves of “The Begining of the End" fame).

First: Why retitle a remake? Same script, worse acting. Worse filming. But hey! It’s in color so let’s give it a catchy new title.

Two: Who would remake a Corman film! American International Films that’s who. For shame.

‘Sigh’ It hurts.

I think I’ll pop in the Corman version now.

Yay, Rodger Corman!
