Sometimes.... a neighbor can just make yer day.....
So J and I got to sleep in this morning. :) It was nice. And even after we woke up, we stayed in bed and snuggled and watched movies. She may have a new favorite movie: Tarzan II. I am usually not a big fan of sequels, but its not so bad.
at around 11am, our doorbell rings.
J and I head downstairs to see who it is and our newly-red-headed neighbor is at the door.
I open the door open the door and she hands me a gift. It is a 16 ounce plastic coffee cup. It has a nifty no-spill lid so that I can use it at work without fear of spilling coffee on servers.
I know she knows that the reason I was a little bummed about breaking my coffee cup at work wasnt the fact that I broke it. It was more the fact that I had that cup for years. I have put thousands of cups of coffee in that thing. It has been to many many jobs with me, and traveled across the country tweece... .twice... whatever....
But now I have a new cup. And it being a gift from a friend... I will have a new fondness for it. Sorry to tell you this confidentwoman... but you will never see it again. I plan on taking it to work on Monday morning and it has officially been designated my new "Work Cup".
